May 17/2011 - Resource releases campaign for its 20th anniversary linked to social networks

Resource IT Solutions, Brazilian integrator of IT solutions, kicked off today a strong campaign to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The campaign will focus on setting and spreading its brand and will be linked to social networks. According to Renata Bove, director of Marketing and executive responsible for the orchestration of all these actions, the 20th anniversary campaign will be held in an exceptionally good time for the company.

"Resource would turn 20 anyway, but its fast pace growth, the fact of acquiring companies and expanding its international operations, has contributed further to this great party", she says.

The company launched its new corporate video this week, which can be seen at www.youtube.com/resourceitsolutions .The film, about six minutes long, features a presentation by the company's president, Gilmar Batistela, as well as great testimonials from customers like Roberto Medeiros, former president of Redecard; Reginaldo Zero, president of Fidelity; Aloisio Wolff, co-chairman of Intermedia Notredame, and Rogerio Oliveira, Chairman for Latin America, IBM. The video comes together with an ambitious goal: getting 20,000 views in 20 days. Achieved the goal, all 2,500 employees will earn theatre tickets.

Another important release was the debut of the new portal - www.resource.com.br .Created by Digital Studio Resource, the new site has very important features such as accessibility for the visually impaired. The director of Marketing said the work was intense and that reviews of the information architecture, redesign and integration with social networks were made. "The result of this effort was a practical, intuitive, layout-friendly, modern site that is fully inserted into Resource's brand new universe".

But preparations for the commemoration of the 20th anniversary began early, since last year, when the company commissioned a study and revitalization of its brand. "After two decades, we redesigned our logo to ensure that it becomes synonymous with the competent and dynamic Brazilian software industry", Gilmar Batistela said at that time.

Since it began its ascending way, Resource has grown year after year. The expectation for 2011 is to achieve a turnover of U.S. $ 300 million and reach 3,000 employees, in addition to expanding its international presence with two new subsidiaries in Latin America.

Throughout its history, it has also invested in innovation to develop a new product within its software factory: the SiteSeeing solution, which monitors the performance and response time of Web applications and is now being used by most of the Brazilian banks.
